So, I was shopping in Hobby Lobby today when this cute little red sign caught my eye. As I picked up this cute, little, red sign, I noticed the price display was titled "Men's Signs." Now, I'm probably the furthest thing from a feminist you have ever seen, but seriously? I fully intend on using both hands to climb up the ladder of SUCCESS (no matter what success may mean :) ).

Even though I was not pleased with the title of the display case, I still thought the message behind this particular sign was intriguing and motivating. So many of us "sit" around waiting for God to bring things to us and to give us success, when in reality...sometimes God gives us the tools we need to be successful and he sits back, like the proud father he is, to watch what we are going to do with them. On another side not, this sign got me thinking about climbing a ladder and it's nearly impossible to climb over someone on a ladder...which then means that you can't TRULY ever reach success if you're stepping on people along the way. Just a thought.

PS...Did I mention yet how obsessed I am with my hip hop class on Saturdays with ktnaomi? It's amazing...just check us out! :)

So try and figure out what success means to you and what you have to do to get there...just make sure you don't step over anyone along the way. Might even be a good idea to set your ladder next to someone elses in case you need a little encouragement along the way.
