"Growth means change and
change involves risk, stepping
from the known to the unknown."

I've started reading this book called The Shack and this is from the beginning of one of the chapters. A good friend of mine suggested the book to me and I have not been able to put it down! Somehow the words on the pages of this book resonate deep in your soul and allow you to start thinking about religion and your relationship with God in a totally new way. P-l-e-a-s-e check this book out...it'll seriously change your life.
This quote jumped out at me because post-college you go through so many changes (some good and some not so good) and these changes really give you the opportunity to prove who you are as a person. Change can be something as small as not being able to go to your favorite grocery store any more (HEB) :) or having all of your friends now scattered literally across the country. When change starts happening we have 2 choices...we can push back and try to hold onto snippets of our old life or we can dive head first into, even inviting, new changes into our life. I, personally, need to get better about adapting to change, but this year I'm hoping to take a few more risks and start stepping into the unknown.

Love this! I for sure have had some changes the past year, but what an encouragement to power through!
