School has been my LIFE this week...which means I haven't had as much time to write. I'm loving teaching, but it is crazy how much work goes into it if you want to do well...

This is a quote that I continuously tell my students since 4th grade is a huge writing year. Today in the hall, I had kids begging to get back to the classroom from recess so we could do writing workshop...and we had already done writing workshop that day. Needless to say, I was pumped about this and we went back to the room and I let the boys write.

Also, Monday my kiddos wrote letters to students in Haiti as encouragement to the people over there. Almost started crying at my desk today as I read some of them...it's amazing how big a heart some of them have and I cannot wait to send them!
