the most impactful four letter word

"He to whom (love) is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."
-Albert Einstein

The one thing everyone wants, but cannot explain.

The reason love is so hard to explain is because it means something different to every single person. The type of love they've given and recieved might look very different from others around them. We have all been loved by different people in unique ways throughout our entire lives...and we've all given love to others in one way or another.

The greatest thing about love is it's unparalleled ability to affect everyone. No one is exempy from it because it requires no skill. You can be just who you are and someone somewhere loves you for it. (In fact, if more people were like this there might be a lot more love to go around.) Love may also be unknown to not only the recipient, but the donor as well. I use the word donor because when someone truly gives love, a part of themself is given with it. And sometimes you can't get it back. And sometimes, we love people without even knowing we love them. I believe this turns into the most innocent and faithful kind because at the beginning there are no alterior motives...just love naturally happening.

Let's all be honest here for a moment. Giving and recieving love is a feeling unsurmounted by any other emotion. Einstein said it best when he declared that it will open our eyes. Even if you've loved and lost, the feelings you had may still arise amongst the melody of a familiar song, a sweet picture, a familiar scent, a memorable quote... The point is that once you've experience this emotion, it's impossible to go back to the way things used to be when your eyes were closed. And for that, I'm eternally grateful.

"Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perserves."
-Paul, 1 Corinthians 13:7

Never stop hoping for the future love will bring you...even if all it ever does is inspire you to become the person you were designed to be.
