"A smile can brighten the darkest day."
-author unknown
Some days just stink.
Today...was one of those days. My kids were WiLd, I couldn't sleep last night so I was exhausted, my desk was a mess of papers to grade and tutoring to do, I pulled a muscle during my (new and A-mazing) Insanity workout that I do with the teachers... This wouldn't be such a big deal if I wasn't running a 10k in less than 2 weeks and I wasn't working on something else that requires working out and your body to function properly.
It was also one of those days where you feel alone...you try calling a million people, but in the end you're not in the mood to talk so it doesn't help. I hate days like that. But without days like that, I wouldn't have had days like my birthday where...I felt completely humbled by all of the incredible people in my life. I truly have the most amazing people in my life who do a phenominal job of caring for me and helping me to pursue the person I want to be. Days like this also help reveal to us who we really feel comfortable enough with to bare our heart (even the yucky side.).
That person knows how to make you smile and reminds you how blessed you are. And reminds you of what a wonderful future lies ahead.

Sometimes we can't make ourselves smile so God places people in our path to do the sowing so we can simply reap joy and happiness.
