Life has been crazy busy since I moved up here, but when I take the time to sit back and really think about everything that's happened...I am truly amazed. How does everything work out so perfectly like this? I'm not saying everything has been perfect, there have been moments of missing home and I still want to find some good girl friends. But, I could not have planned out my first 3 weeks better if I had tried. It has been such a testament to me that when you follow your heart and those "gut feelings, " things will all fall into place. Don't waste time worrying for everything will take care of itself all in good time. (I have been wanting to try living out here for years and now couldn't have been better timing.)
Things I'm loving:
*View of the mountains on my way to work, running, every day...
*Meeting so many new people & learning to appreciate the differences b/w people
*All of the yummy new restaurants
*Visits to Breweries
*My roomates: meeting all of their friends, family dinners, good talks
*My parents will be up here soon!
*The feeling I get when I sell the perfect car to someone
*Learning how to bake in this altitude
Things I could do without:
*Missing my friends & family from back home
*Traffic circles (they're EVERYWHERE)
*Not being around kiddos everyday
*Some of the guys not being quite as chivalrous as back home
*Church hopping
Cannot wait to see these girls in a couple weeks for another bachelorette party!!
(So terrible that I've slacked on taking pictures and I don't have a great one of all of us.)
